Erik Paul Waterland, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy | |
Born in Tacoma and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington where he graduated from Gig Harbor High School, Erik attended Tacoma Community College for two years then moved on to Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. While at both colleges he captained the men's soccer teams and was a principle dancer for the Huntingdon College dance department. Erik was accepted into the physical therapy program at The University of Puget Sound in Tacoma and graduated with his doctorate in 2005. After PT school he and his wife Keri moved to Fresno, California so that she may finish her education. While there, Erik practiced in an outpatient facility that specialized in orthopedics, geriatrics and general rehabilitation. After Keri finished her PhD in Forensic Psychology, she and Erik returned to Tacoma where Erik resumed a similar focus, practicing at One to One physical therapy. He currently practices with his classmate, Alika Antone and his long time friend and mentor, Deborah Kristovich. Erik and his wife currently reside in west Tacoma; they have been married since 2002. Erik continues to play both indoor and outdoor soccer and remains supportive of local dance and performance groups. Email: ewaterland@121pt.com | ||
